A: My name is James King, and this is my photograph-a-day blog.

A: I am a recently laid off wilderness therapy field instructor, living in Salt Lake City.
Q: Why are you writing a blog?
A: As an assignment for myself, with the goal of taking, editing and posting a photograph every day for a year.
Q: Why now?
A: Im 22, unemployed, and have an old ibook, and all unemployed 22 year-olds with a ibook have a blog, right?
Q: What is a circle of confusion?
A: From Wikipedia: “In optics, a circle of confusion is an optical spot caused by a cone of light rays from a lens not coming to a perfect focus when imaging a point source. It is also known as disk of confusion, circle of indistinctness, or blur circle.”
